Pearl Chinese Cuisine

I was invited by my business associate for an early dinner meeting (430 pm). I wanted to try something new so he recommended The Pearl Chinese Cuisine in Rancho Bernardo. I arrived a little early and was surprised to see no one in the restaurant except 3 employees sitting at a table. As I began to walk toward the exit thinking it was closed, a lady asked if I was interested in a table. I said yes, table for two please.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is interesting. It's very similar to a community hall that gets rented out to families celebrating debuts and or other special occasions. I  later found out that The Pearl Cuisine is managed and operated by the same owners of Jasmine's on Convoy. The view of the restaurant overlooks a man made lake that's quite peaceful. I can definitely see myself coming here and ordering some tea with a good book in hand.

I ordered the orange chicken and steamed rice, my business associate ordered the baked flounder.  The orange chicken was SUPERB! It's probably one of the  best orange chickens I've had here in San Diego. The fish was good too, it just didn't taste as fresh as it should have been - but overall really good.

My dinner experience at The Pearl Cuisine was good. The price of each dish averages between $15 - $26 with exotic choices of shark fin that will go as high as $55.00. It is definitely not cheap if you eat here, but the quality and quantity of the food is really good. A family of 4 should expect their dinner to cost between $100 - $120.

I would have loved to give The Pearl Cuisine 3-stars solely based on the amazing food, but when I combined the service plus the cost of each dish, The FP Unknown Eater gives this location a 2.5 out of 5.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
