MANILA, Philippines – Kylie Padilla, the younger daughter of Robin Padilla, has just signed a two-year contract with GMA-7. The young star started it the Kapuso channel with her role in Joaquin Bordado. Though her sister accepted project in the rival network, Kylie wants to stay in GMA because "this is where I started". "Proud po ako na Kapuso ako at gusto ko po dito kasi dito po ako nagsimula. Sabi ni Papa na ako and mag-desisyon tapos suportahan nya na lang daw po ako," she said. Kylie will be part of the Sunday concert show "Party Pilipinas" and will be coming out in different programs of GMA-7. When asked whom she wants to be working with in the near future, the 17-year old newcomer picked Dingdong Dantes, whom she idolizes after the latter's show Marimar. The young star also cleared that she is sets her focus in her career now and not yet ready to be in a relationship. "Wala pang dumating sa standard ko. Gusto po ni Papa na magkaroon muna kami ng career bago ang lovelife," she said. Kylie then added that she's not really into 'bad boys' but more on those you can bring home to dad. (MNS) |
