3rd annual Filipino Cultural Night
The 3rd annual Filipino Cultural Night will take place at PETCO Park on Saturday, August 28th at 1:10 p.m. vs. the Philadelphia Phillies. Not only will Lea Salonga sing the National Anthem, but a limited edition of Filipino Cultural Night t-shirts will be given away with every ticket purchased through the online promo. There will be pre-game entertainment at the Park at the Park and the band Misc. Ailments will perform after the game.

The members of Batch 1957 of Cavite High School, who are in the United States will hold a reunion on Saturday, August 28, 2010, commencing at 11:00 a.m. at the Glorieta Bay Park in the City of Coronado.  Chairmen of the activities are Jim Esteban and Connie Ayran Hinckley. Southern California Plumeria Society’s Hawaiian Plumeria Festival
Come to the Southern California Plumeria Society’s Hawaiian Plumeria Festival, our annual flower show and plant sale.  Enjoy the Hawaiian music, smell the fragrant plumeria blossoms and view the prize-winning blooms of the judged flower show. A bloom table of identified flowers of every color will be on display.  Hundreds of plants, grown by club members, will be on sale at great club prices. Plumeria blossoms, the lei flower of Hawaii, will be given to each attendee. Members will be available to answer culture questions. A sale table will include plumeria items, growing instructions and books. A raffle will be held.  Free admission.

21st Annual AIDS Walk San Diego
San Diego County’s largest one-day HIV/AIDS fundraiser will take place on Sunday, Sept. 26 at Balboa Park.  The 21st annual event will raise funds for more than 20 San Diego County HIV/AIDS service organizations. AIDS Walk San Diego is a program of The San Diego LGBT Community Center.
